NEW: Neyland Stadium construction photos

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- While on campus Tuesday afternoon for a Derek Dooley news conference, Sports Overtime stopped and snapped off a few pictures of the on-going construction project taking place at Neyland Stadium.

Most of the work being done right now is outside gate 21.

Brick continues to be laid down to cover much of the exterior and fans can also see where the Kickoff Call In Show will originate.

You can see all the pictures by clicking on the "Photos" tab above.

Furthermore F the athletic dept gives money back to the university. But nice try and thanks for playing. Enjoy this home version of the game to take with you.

Well, F, I guess you don't understand that this renovation was paid for with private donations to the Athletic Department, which is financially separate from the University. No money from that 9% increase was used, nor is tuition money used for ANY athletic project.

So tuition is raised 9% again but millions of dollars are spent just to put a pretty face on Neyland Stadium. Looks like the Board and Administration’s priorities are a bit off.
