Glade, Tenn. (WVLT) -- He's not actually home, but Trevor Bayne isn't far from it.
Saturday afternoon he'll make his fourth career start at Nashville Superspeedway.
“I’m looking forward to concentrating on our Nationwide program this weekend at Nashville. I believe we have a solid team, and a great game plan to be successful," Bayne said.
"I think we are very close to winning our first race. It seems as if we get stronger every week and the communication gets better and better. Chris Andrews and the guys give me awesome race cars to drive and we are always prepared as soon as we unload. There is no doubt in my mind that we can walk away with a top three finish or better this Saturday afternoon.”
Starting well at Nashville Superspeedway hasn't been an issue for the 2011 Daytona 500 winner. Bayne has started second, tenth, and third at the track, but he crashed in two of the races. His best finish there is 12th.
