Brad Taylor resigns as Bearden football coach

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Brad Taylor has resigned as the head football coach at Bearden high school.

The Bulldogs earned a 54-28 record under Taylor over the past seven years.

Taylor told Local 8 Sports he will continue to teach at Bearden.

Bearden made the playoffs six out of Taylor's seven years as head coach, reaching the state semifinals in 2007.
