Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Oliver Springs head coach Wiley Brackett returns
to lead the cats into action this season. The Bocats went 5-5 last year
just missing out on the playoffs.
This season, there's renewed optimism at
Oliver springs where the numbers are bad and
the head coach says the attitude is even better "...The chemistry, I'm telling you they're tough kids, I mean we're 35 strong right now
for 2A football that's tough for us but we're uniting and the epectations for me are trying to get the guys better each week and try to contend for a district title."
Tight end Markus Miller adds, "... I really, really like how we all get along and how we really don't have a true star on this team, we all work our butts off, we've worked harder this year than we ever have."
The Bobcats are set to open the 2014
season in Week Zero. that's Friday night August 22nd against Unaka...
