Wes Jones returns for his 7th year as head
coach at Hardin Valley and his Hawks should be
competitive returning several starters on both sides of the ball.
The goal is to get back to the playoffs, something which will be guaranteed beginning next season with HVA being one of the 32 largest schools in the state.
Jones said,"...We don't have a problem with the super 32, I just think it's going to be interesting when everybody wants to start jockeying once again to move up or down what the justification's are going to be for that it's frustrating to see some schools be able to move up and some be able to move down it just puts a lot on trying to figure out what's going on."
The new six-class plan announced by theTSSAA takes effect next season. As for this year, the Hawks kick things off in week one against Karns.
