Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Head coach Wes Jones and the hawks look to build on a 2012 season which saw the boys in blue make it to the first round of the playoffs.
It's already been an exciting offseason as coach Jones' wife unexpectedly gave birth to the couples 5th child during the family vacation to Charleston back on July 2nd. The baby wasn't due til August 18th, but she's here and so is a new football season for the Hawks, who'll look to continue some old habits:
Jones:"...our football team is centered around running the eye offense, we run the football to set up everything else that we do. So we're going to continue doing those things and we're going to look early to get the run established to be able to set up our passing game so it's going to be the same type look, team offensively as it's been in the past."
