Countdown To Kickoff: Union County

MAYNARDVILLE, Tenn. - For new Union County head coach Ethan Edminston his top priority is getting his team focused. "Challenge number would be getting the kids on board and then the community after that, like you said. Just get everybody on board and get some stability to the program," Edminston says.

Many people outside the program would guess that getting the players to work hard is not easy. After all, the Patriots have lost 28 straight games. But running back Blake Wallace knows that those people are wrong. "What they really don't see in the end is how much work we put into it. And how much time is really spent in the weight room and practicing and everything," Wallace says.

Union County opens the season at home against Grainger County.
