Countdown to Kickoff: CAK

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The CAK Warriors know how to win. They proved that last season, going 14-1 and capturing their second straight State Title. But the key players from those 2 State Title teams have graduated and are on their way to college.

The cupboard isn't bare though. The Warriors do have a lot of talent, but they know it will be more difficult this season. "Last year we had a lot of talent so they didn't have to give as much effort, but we still did really well of course. But to get to that level this year we are going to have to give a lot more and we have been doing that so far," CAK wide receiver Whitaker Cunnigham says.

While winning is always the goal, head coach Rusty Bradley focuses more on the process than the result. "I've never really stressed with our guys, winning campionships. I think winning championships is the result of doing a lot of other things well and the right way so I want our guys to focus on each day and getting better."

CAK opens the season on the road at Franklin Road Academy.
