GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Greeneville Greene Devils have loads of talent to replace, but are still considered a favorite to contend for the 4A state championship.
Coach Caine Ballard returns numerous starters on each side of the ball, including several members of his offensive and defensive fronts. They'll be expected to carry a heavy load as the team attempts to play in its third consecutive state championship season.
Greeneville should cruise through a district filled with rebuilding programs. Claiborne will likely provide the toughest test, while Chuckey-Doak, Cumberland Gap, South Greene, West Greene and Grainger will fight for playoff spots.
