KNOXVILLE, Tenn.(WVLT)-- Thursday night, Dan Reeves was speaking about his faith and the challenge to young kids to do the right thing.

Local 8 News Anchor Alan Williams was the emcee of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes annual banquet at the downtown Marriott.

Along with honoring local athletes and those in the community, Alan introduced the former Dallas Cowboys, and former Denver and Atlanta head coach.

"Players and kids still want to be disciplined they still want to win, do the right things, they need people
to lead them in the right direction, there's certainly a lot more distractions, now", Reeves told Local 8.

Besides speaking engagements, Reeves is also a network radio commentator for NFL games.
