KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (release) -- UT All-American & Kansas City Chiefs Pro Bowler, Eric Berry, and the Eric Berry Foundation are once again partnering with D1 to host youth football camps in Chattanooga and Knoxville this summer.
The Eric Berry D1 Chattanooga Iron Sharpens Iron Camp is scheduled for Friday, June 14. The Eric Berry D1 Knoxville Iron Sharpens Iron Camp will take place on Saturday, June 15. Both camps are open to boys and girls ages 7-14.
Both the Friday, June 14 Chattanooga and Saturday, June 15 Knoxville camps will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. During the camps, participants will be trained and coached by Eric Berry and D1 coaches.
"I am excited to partner with D1 for my youth camps again this year. Coming back to East Tennessee and being a part of this community is so important to me. I love working with the kids and helping them develop as players. I look forward to these camps every year," said Eric Berry.
The general public price is $75 and D1 members receive a discounted rate of $50. In addition to 3 hours of training, participants will receive an Adidas Camp t-shirt, shorts and string bag, an autographed camp poster and an opportunity to win contests and prizes.
The Chattanooga camp will be held at Boyd-Buchanan High School, located at 4650 Buccaneer Trail. The Knoxville camp will be held at Grace Christian Academy, located at 5914 Beaver Ridge Rd.
The mission of the Eric Berry Foundation is to provide beneficial opportunities and a safe environment for children to participate in team sports and leadership development programs in order to encourage strength of body, mind and spirit.
D1 Sports Training & Therapy has nineteen (19) U.S. locations with pro athlete, sports medicine and in-house therapy partners. Pro athlete co-owners include Peyton Manning, Jason Witten, Tim Tebow, Chipper Jones, Heather Mitts, & Philip Rivers.
