Fisher: Young day-to-day with mild sprained knee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Vince Young is day-to-day after tests show only a mild sprained left knee and ankle, and coach Jeff Fisher says the Tennessee quarterback could play against Philadelphia on Sunday even if he misses a couple practices.

Fisher said Tuesday he could say Young was lucky to just be sore after what happened in the game.

Young was hurt Monday night when pulled down after he recovered a fumbled snap, twisting his left leg underneath him. He was able to walk off the field, and Fisher said Young could have played, taking snaps out of the shotgun.

But the Titans (4-2) made sure Young didn't have to return, finishing off a 30-3 win in Jacksonville that kept them tied with Houston and Indianapolis atop the AFC South.
