(UNDATED) -- New York Mets pitcher R.A. Dickey has been named to his first Major League All-Star Game.
Dickey leads the majors with 12 wins. He's also third in innings pitched (113), strikeouts (116) and ERA (2.15).
Dickey could be just the second knuckleballer to start the all-star game.
Dickey starred at Tennessee in the mid-1990s. He was selected in the first round, 18th overall, by the Texas Rangers.
The All-Star game is July 10 in Kansas City.
