STRAWBERRY PLAINS, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Gibbs Eagles rebounded nicely from their first loss of the season, cruising to a 56-22 win over rival Carter in the State Farm Rivalry Thursday Game of the Week.

Gibbs running back Andy Hibbett ran for 333 yards on only 16 carries, scoring five times to lead the Eagles to victory.

Gibbs, which lost to Fulton 54-43 last week to end a six-game unbeaten run, led 42-7 at halftime.
