Halls softball makes national Top 25

HALLS, Tenn. - The success of the Halls Lady Devils softball team has drawn national attention. The Lady Devils sit at 14th in the latest MaxPreps Top 25 national high school softball rankings. Halls is 32-1 on the season.

Much of the credit for the turnaround goes to the coaching staff. Former Halls football coach Kevin Julian has taken a team that won 17 games over a 3 year stretch and turned it into a squad that has now won 70 games in less than 2 seasons.

A big part of the coaching staff is assistant coach Bryan Gordon. His knowledge of the game has been invaluable in helping polish a talented team.

The goal for the Lady Devils is to make the State Tournament. Bringing home a State Title would be the ultimate reward the players hard work.
