Ice Bears ready for SPHL semifinals

Knoxville, TENN. (WVLT-TV), The Knoxville Ice Bears dominated the defending SPHL Champion Columbus Cottonmouths in their first round series. Thursday night the Bears continue their run towards a 4th Presidents Cup when they open semi-final play against Pensacola.

The team is playing well and goalie Bryan Hince is no exception. Hince stopped shot after shot as he got his second consecutive shutout in the net Saturday at Columbus. He stopped all 44 shots that he faced in the first round.

Knoxville will play the Pensacola Ice Flyers in a three game series. The opening face off is tomorrow night at 7:30. The first 500 fans in the coliseum will receive a free playoff t-shirt.
