KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knoxville Ice Bears battled the Fayetteville Fire Ants in a sea of pink Friday night.
Teaming up with the Susan G. Komen Foundation to raise breast cancer awareness, you could see a little "Pink in the rink".
The Ice Bears got permission from the league to trade their normal jerseys out for pink ones, with their logo on the front and a pink ribbon on the sleeve.
The team also had the same symbolic color on their hockey sticks.
The jerseys were auctioned off after the game, with the proceeds going to the Komen Foundation.
Pink pucks and pompoms were also sold at the merchandise stand.
