LMU's European connection

HARROGATE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- If you look at the roster of the Lincoln Memorial women's basketball team, you'll see that the squad is like many other division two schools across the nation: most of its players are a day's car ride from home.

That can't be said about every Lady Railsplitter though. Guards Edina Musa and Alise Samite are from Europe. Musa hails from Macedonia, while Samite calls Latvia home.

Local 8 Sports recently featured these two Lady Railsplitters. Click on the video player to see the story.
