Masters to begin Thursday

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- The first of golf's four majors tee's off this Thursday at Augusta National. For the first time ever East Tennessee Scott Stallings will be a participant.

CBS and Masters announcer Vern Lundquist said the speed of the greens will definitely play a role.

"I think adjusting to the speed of the greens and movement that you find in almost every putt there's no such animal as a straight putt at Augusta we can't televise it or show the undulations in the greens, they're lightening quick and there are bumps all over the place," Lundquist said.

Scott Stallings arrived at Augusta over the weekend and is currently trying to get acclimated to those lightning fast greens. Stallings qualified for the Masters by winning last July's Greenbrier Classic.
