MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Memphis tight end Cameron Clear has committed to play football for Tennessee, choosing the Vols over Alabama, Duke and Memphis.
Clear announced his decision at a press conference Tuesday, one day before National Signing Day.
Clear, a 6-foot-6, 265-pound prospect from Memphis Central High School, projects as either a tight end or an offensive tackle at the college level.
He is rated by some recruiting services as the top player in Tennessee for the class of 2011.
