KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (release) -- With the 2013 football season right around the corner, Tennessee Athletics invites fans to "Meet Your Seats" at Neyland Stadium on Thursday, July 11.
Fans will have the opportunity to take a first-hand look at available seats in Neyland Stadium and have the chance to purchase 2013 season tickets with home games including Georgia, South Carolina and more.
"We initially hosted 'Meet Your Seats' in 2010, and it was very well received. The idea is to continue to take a personal approach to serving the needs of our customers," said Chris Fuller, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development and External Operations.
"This gives interested fans a chance to come to Neyland Stadium, smell the fresh cut grass of Shields-Watkins Field, visit with a staff member and test drive the actual seats. It's a special experience to attend a game at Neyland Stadium. This approach allows fans to feel some of that gameday excitement leading up to the season."
"Meet Your Seats" is an opportunity for Tennessee fans who do not currently have football season tickets to come to Neyland Stadium and look at seat options for the 2013 season. Fans will be able to see their options and sit in the seats before committing to season tickets.
Current donors and season ticket holders are also invited to "Meet Your Seats" to look at opportunities to add or relocate season tickets. Several giveaways will be drawn throughout the day for new season ticket holders who purchase season tickets on site.
Free parking is available on the top level of G10 only; this is the parking garage between Neyland Stadium and Thompson-Boling Arena off of Phillip Fulmer Way. Once parked, follow the signs to the "Meet Your Seats" tent at Gate 21 of Neyland Stadium. If you have any questions, please contact (865) 974-1218.
The Sports Animal will be broadcasting most of the day from Gate 21. So come out and join us.
