KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Among other things, the Vols are using the bye week to rest and recover. Tennessee is a team with such little depth, just one injury can really set back certain positions.

Offensive lineman Dallas Thomas continues to deal with an injured ankle. Thomas practiced Tuesday, but is still limited.

Offensive lineman JerQuari Schofield is still working his way back from a broken bone in his foot. He won't return to the practice field until next week.

Placekicker Daniel Lincoln is nursing a groin injury. Like Schofield, he won't practice this week, with hopes of returning to the practice field next week.

The Vols host Alabama Oct. 23 for a 7 p.m. kickoff on ESPN.
