Knoxville, Tenn--(WVLT) Kelli Pemberton won the Knox Area Women's Golf Association (KAWGA) match play championship flight, Thursday.

Pemberton defeated Carolyn Gilliam in the final round to claim the title of Konxville's top woman golfer. The match, held at Gettysvue Country Club was the third round in three days for both golfers.

Pemberton defeated third place finisher Robin Banner on Wednesday to qualify for the championship match while Gilliam defeated Sharon Kelly.

Pemberton, also won the longest drive competition for the championship flight.
