Peyton Manning talks to reporters at Payton Manning Golf Classic (WVLT/Peter Simeone)

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Vols' legend Peyton Manning returned to Knoxville on Monday to help raise money for the East Tennessee Children's Hospital and his own PeyBack Foundation. The Denver Broncos' quarterback teed off early at the Fox Den Country Club.

Manning also took advantage of his time here to visit his alma mater and work with the Vols' quarterbacks, as he's done for sixteen years now.

The Peyton Manning Golf Classic is set up as a 4-player team swat and they will be flighted by team handicaps. Manning took time to visit with the golfers all day as they played.
