KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The high school hoops action heated up on Friday night with district tournaments in full swing.

Both Bearden boys and girls teams both advanced in District 4-AAA play at Heritage High School.

District 2-AAA saw Morristown West top cross-town rival Morristown East in girls action.

Gibbs and Carter both advanced in District 3-AA boys play.
