MARYVILLE, Tenn. - As Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz so famously said, "there is no place like home." Former Alcoa standout and current Green Bay Packer Randall Cobb feels the same way.
"This is home for me. These kids mean a lot to me. I grew up here. This is the field I played on when I first started playing football. And this is where I come from," Cobb says about hosting a free camp in Maryville on Sunday.
The purpose of Cobb's camp is to inspire the youth in his hometown. "I just want to show them and inspire them that regardless of where you come from you can achieve a lot in life. And I just want to show that to them by coming back and giving back to them."
250 kids attended the free camp.
