KNOXVILLE (WVLT) -- The NCAA is investigating former Tennessee football assistant coach Ed Orgeron's conduct while at UT, according to a report from ESPN.com.
The question concerns whether Orgeron conducted a workout for a recruit while he was on the UT campus during a May visit, according to the report.
The recruit, Brandon Willis, was allegedly asked to display his skills to Orgeron, which would violate the NCAA's "no-tryout" rule, which prohibits coaches from conducting workouts during certain visits.
The violation would likely be secondary and not major, the report states.
