CTK: Scott Highlanders

HUNTSVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Scott Highlanders are looking forward to another successful football season.

Highlanders head coach Keith Shannon believes his team's roster has the depth to produce again this year.

"It's got a good mix of veterans and younger guys," Shannon said.

"We've got some talented younger guys that really add to the depth of our football team. That's always a benefit."

After finishing the regular season 7-3 last year the Highlanders fell to Elizabethton 27-20 in the playoffs.

The Highlanders will open this season at home on August 22 against McCreary Central (KY).
