Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Tennessee Smokies, Double-A minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, announced Wednesday that Buddy Bailey will again return to Tennessee to be the team’s manager for the 2014 season. This is Bailey's third consecutive and 4th season overall managing the Smokies. He's the first manager to return for a third straight year since Rocket Wheeler occupied the Tennessee bench from 2000 through 2002..
Joining Bailey on next year’s staff will be pitching coach Storm Davis, hitting coach Desi Wilson, strength & conditioning coach Leo Perez, and athletic trainer Shane Nelson.
