KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Several Tennessee football players are trying to recover from injuries in time for Saturday's matchup against Alabama.

Defensive tackle Montori Hughes, offensive guard JerQuari Schofield and placekicker Daniel Lincoln remain doubtful for a return to action by Saturday. Safety Prentiss Waggner is also questionable for Saturday's game.

Offensive lineman Dallas Thomas is recovering from an ankle injury and should play against the Crimson Tide.
