NASHVILLE, Tenn. (release) -- The Tennessee Titans have announced the complete itinerary for the Academy Sports + Outdoors Titans Caravan, a regional series of free, public autograph signings. The Caravan will make 16 stops in Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama from May 12 through May 17. A special public stop will be made in Johnson City on June 13.
Academy Sports + Outdoors Titans Caravan public stops are free events that allow fans to meet players, T-Rac and the “Voice of the Titans” Mike Keith. Posters are provided at no cost to all Caravan attendees for autographs, and photos are encouraged. Public stops generally last one hour.
Head coach Ken Whisenhunt is scheduled to make his inaugural trip on Titans Caravan on Thursday, May 15, with visits to Bowling Green, Ky., White House and Madison.
Players scheduled to appear on this year’s Caravan include offensive linemen Brian Schwenke and Chance Warmack (May 12); running back Dexter McCluster and tight end Delanie Walker (May 13); linebacker Akeem Ayers, offensive lineman Andy Levitre and quarterback Jake Locker (May 14); wide receivers Justin Hunter and Kendall Wright (May 16); and defensive lineman Jurrell Casey, linebacker Derrick Morgan and cornerback Jason McCourty (May 17).
There will be one additional stop on the Caravan of a unique nature: an appearance in Johnson City on June 13 in connection with cornerback Coty Sensabaugh’s football camp weekend. Sensabaugh and safety Daimion Stafford will make a public visit to Logan’s Roadhouse starting at 4:00 pm ET.
Titans Caravan began in 1998 as a small effort to spread goodwill through the region. Today, seven full-time staffers travel with Titans players and T-Rac through the Mid-South on a specially-decorated motor coach. Since 1998, the Caravan has made over 800 stops and allowed the team to interact directly with an estimated audience well in excess of 150,000 fans.
On Friday, May 16, Titans' wide receivers Justin Hunter and Kendall Wright will be in Knoxville. The duo is scheduled to be at the Academy Sports + Outdoors located on 145 Moss Gross Blvd at 6:30 pm.
