Nashville, TN (WVLT) - If Titans owner Bud Adams gets what he wants, Peyton Manning will be suiting up for the Tennessee Titans next season.
Adams told the Tennessean that he has his eye on Manning, "He is the man I want. Period." Adams went on to say, "I want Mr. Manning with the Titans and will be disappointed if it doesn't happen."
Adams hopes that coming back to the Volunteer state might be enough to lure Manning to Nashville. "Since he went to school in Tennessee I think Tennessee is where he should be."
Adams has been happy with the QB play for the Titans, but admits that is a rare opportunity, stating, "I want him. I am ready to do what it takes to get him aboard and I think he'd be the guy to get us into the playoffs."
