KNOXVILLE (WVLT) -- Knoxville native and NASCAR driver Trevor Bayne was released from the hospital Sunday after receiving treatment for a swollen elbow.
Bayne tweeted that he suffered a possible spider bite. The symptoms lingered for more than a week, prompting a Sunday hospital visit.
Roush Fenway Racing said in a statement that Bayne is fine and plans to continue racing this week as scheduled.
