KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Much like his legendary mother, Tyler Summitt may begin his head coaching career at an early age. WPDE-TV in South Carolina is reporting that Tyler has spoken with Coastal Carolina athletic director Hunter Yurachek about the Lady Chanticleers women's basketball head coach vacancy.
Summitt just finished up his first season as an assistant coach with the Marquette women's basketball team.
When contacted by Local 8 Sports Tyler said that he "cannot deny or confirm" the report.
