UT linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin grazed by bullet during weekend shooting

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - UT sophomore linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin was injured in a shooting over the weekend in Clarksville.

Reeves-Maybin was grazed in the arm while standing in the street early Sunday morning.

Coach Butch Jones said Reeves-Maybin did not need stitches.

An incident report from the Clarksville Police Department says the 19-year-old was attending a party in his hometown and was standing in the street when in the shooting occurred.

UT confirms Reeves-Maybin is doing just fine and was even back at class Monday morning.

A spokesman for the Clarksville Police Department told Local 8 News that they do not have a suspect.
