KNOXVILLE (UTSports.com) -- With the 2011 football season right around the corner, Tennessee Athletics invites fans to "Meet Your Seats" at Neyland Stadium from Monday, June 6 to Thursday, June 9, 2011. Fans will have the opportunity to take a first-hand look at available seats in Neyland Stadium and have the chance to purchase 2011 season tickets with home games including LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, and more.
"We initially hosted 'Meet Your Seats' in 2010, and it was very well received. The idea is to continue to take a personal approach to serving the needs of our customers," said Chris Fuller, Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations. "This gives interested fans a chance to come to Neyland Stadium, smell the fresh cut grass of Shields-Watkins Field, visit with a staff member and test drive the actual seats. It's a special experience to attend a game at Neyland Stadium. This approach gives fans a chance to feel some of that gameday excitement."
"Meet Your Seats" is an opportunity for Tennessee fans who do not currently have football season tickets to come to Neyland Stadium during lunch or after work and look at seat options for the 2011 season. Fans will be able to see their options and sit in the seats before committing to season tickets. Current donors and season ticket holders are also invited to "Meet your Seats" to look at opportunities to add or relocate season tickets. In addition, several former UT players will make "guest appearances" throughout the week.
Parking is free; please following the parking signs to park to the left of Gate 21 off of Phillip Fulmer Way and follow the signs to the "Meet Your Seats" tent at Gate 21 of Neyland Stadium. If you have any questions, please contact (865) 974-1218.
