KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (release) -- Tennessee's Nick Senzel has been named a Freshman All-American by Perfect Game as announced on July 4th. The Farragut native has been named as a second-team designated hitter. It is his second freshman All-American award as he was previously honored by Louisville Slugger.
Senzel was also named to the SEC All-Freshman Team. He hit .315 with 15 extra-bases hits and tying for the team lead in RBIs with 39.
