Vols' Jones says he hasn't spoken to Arian Foster

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee coach Butch Jones says he hasn't spoken with Houston Texans running back Arian Foster about his comments that he got paid during his senior year with the Volunteers.

Foster says in an upcoming documentary that he "was getting money on the side" as a senior in 2008. Sports Illustrated first reported Foster's remarks in the EPIX documentary, "Schooled: The Price of College Sports."

Foster was one of over 500 former Tennessee football players to attend the Vols' spring game in April.

Jones, who was hired in December, said at his Monday news conference that he could only speak of Tennessee's current situation and that "we spend an inordinate amount of time with the education process of our football players and the do's and the don'ts."
