The Vol nation is recovering after being sacked by the third loss to a ranked school so far this season. After watching UT lose to Mississippi State last night, many are already calling for head coach Derek Dooley to step aside. Others continue to back him.

Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) - Some people are remaining positive while others are calling for Dooley to hang up his orange pants.

Fans took their frustrations to the rock on UT's campus, writing "fire Fooley."

Taylor Davidson, a Knoxville resident said, "This second half of the season is really gonna prove if his job security is there. If he can gather his team up and finish off strong."

Fans like Kristen Hayman said, "It's not as spirited the energy isn't up-
the bars are empty it's not much going on if they lose."

A losing streak, many are not happy about.
This season UT's played three ranked teams, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi State, highly anticipated games all ending in disappointment. So what's the solution? A question we took to the streets and our Facebook page.

Davidson said, "I'm just hoping they regain their focus and come together as a team to finish the season off strong."

Lee Varner said,"Fire Dooley." While Kenneth Edward Turpin said, "Yes we will have a winning season and no we don't need to fire anybody."

Jimbo Whaley, a huge UT fan said," I think Tennessee can win the rest of their games. I'm that hopeful fan, I just want them to win."

This Saturday the Vols take on the number one team in the nation: Alabama. Thousands are expected to come out and watch.
