(UNDATED) -- Wichita State announced Tuesday that its Dec. 14 home basketball game against Tennessee will take place at INTRUST Bank Arena in downtown Wichita, Kan. The game will tipoff at 2 p.m. ET and will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
Ticket prices start at $12 and go on sale to the general public in October. Once on sale, fans will be able to purchase tickets online at www.selectaseat.com, or by calling 855-755-SEAT or visiting any Select-A-Seat outlet.
The Shockers lost to the Volunteers in Knoxville last season but bounced back to finish the year strong, advancing all the way to the Final Four. A Tennessee win in December would even the all-time series between the programs at 2-2, dating to 1990.
This marks the fourth straight season that Wichita State has hosted a game at INTRUST Bank Arena (capacity 15,000), defeating Tulsa, UAB and Southern Miss at that venue the last three years, respectively.
The facility hosts several major concerts and events annually while also serving as home to the Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League.
WSU typically plays its home games at its on-campus facility, Charles Koch Arena (capacity 10,512).
