AUBURN, Ala. (WVLT) -- Tennessee cruised past Auburn Thursday despite being without leading scorer Scotty Hopson due to injury, beating the Tigers 69-56 to earn its fifth SEC win.
Cameron Tatum and Brian Williams led the Vols with 15 points apiece, and Tennessee (15-7, 5-2 SEC) shredded Auburn on the boards, out-rebounding the Tigers (8-14, 1-7) 39-23 en route to the easy win.
The Vols return home for a bout with Alabama Saturday. It will be the final game of Bruce Pearl's suspension.
