KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Volunteers have felt really good about the way they've been practicing over the past two weeks. Their hard work has been paying off on the field.
Tennessee got a second straight blowout win and its first Southeastern Conference win with a 52-14 victory over Mississippi on Saturday. The Vols (4-6, 1-5) are hoping to keep up the momentum through the last two regular season games and straight into a bowl bid to salvage a difficult season.
Tennessee will begin practicing Monday to face Vanderbilt (2-8, 1-6), a team with the wrong kind of momentum after losing five straight games.
The Commodores will have to figure out a way to slow down a passing game that has produced eight touchdowns in two games and confuse a defense that forced five Ole Miss turnovers.
