NASHVILLE (WVLT) -- Tennessee outlasted Vanderbilt Saturday in Nashville, overcoming turnovers and penalties to wrestle away a 24-10 win.

Tyler Bray threw for 232 yards and two scores, but also tossed two interceptions, part of a turnover epidemic that plagued both teams. The Vols turned the ball over three times, while Vandy turned it over twice.

When Tennessee held onto the football, it committed a slew of penalties -- 9 of them for 75 yards.

Tyler Bray connected with Justin Hunter for a 15-yard touchdown to put the Vols on the board with 4:12 left in the first quarter.

Tennessee added to the lead with a 20-yard second-quarter connection from Bray to Denarius Moore. Vanderbilt notched a field goal at the first-half whistle to make the score 14-3.

Vanderbilt scored a late touchdown to get within a 17-10 deficit, but the Commodores failed to recover the ensuing onside kick, allowing the Vols to regain possession and tack on a late Tauren Poole touchdown run.

The victory is Tennessee's 14th consecutive win at Vanderbilt Stadium and 27th win over Vandy in the last 28 meetings.
