MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Wartburg made history Thursday afternoon in Murfreesboro.
The Bulldogs (28-4) rolled past Clarkrange 72-52 to advance to the Class A state semifinals.
Led by Alex Fountain's 26 points, Wartburg shot 51.1 percent from the field.
The Bulldogs will face Humboldt Friday at 4:30.
In the Class AA bracket, Gibbs fell to Livingston Academy 76-50.
The Eagles had a hard time slowing down Livingston Academy, as the Wildcats shot 54.3% from the field.
Aaron Corum had 18 points for Gibbs. Jay Cade was the only other Eagle in double figures. He had 15.
The Eagles end the year with a 25-9 record.
