Updated: 06/23/2007 - Kyle McCarthy is not concerned with winning this week. Sure, he would take the $85,500 winner’s check at the Knoxville Open presented by Food City . Of course, his ultimate goal is to get into ‘The 25’ and join the PGA TOUR next year. But after a second-round 70 put McCarthy at 10-under-par with a one-stroke lead, the 24-year-old rookie is happy to make the cut and get himself into contention for the first time on the Nationwide Tour this season.

An appreciative, early arriving crowd cheered Holliman (7-5) as the last batter was retired, and greeting him with a standing ovation during the post-game celebration.

Updated: 06/22/2007 - From the Volunteer TV Newsroom: UT Lady Vols Head Coach Pat Summitt has been released from the hospital. WVLT's Mark Packer has spoken to Coach Summitt. And The School Released The Following Information Regarding Coach Summitt: University of Tennessee women’s basketball coach Pat Summitt was released from the hospital earlier this morning. She is at home and will be resuming normal activities. On Thurs., June 21, Summitt was admitted to the hospital due to dehydration. She was treated and kept under observation overnight.

The scholarship has been awarded annually since 1998 to a first-year student participating in UT's Honors Program in honor of Manning, the former Vols signal-caller, co-captain and 1997 All-America selection.
