KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- As the last game of the season approaches for the Vols it's clear that the grueling schedule has taken its toll on the team's health.
Freshman wide receiver Marquez North came out of the Vanderbilt game in the first half with an ankle injury. Coach Butch Jones said, " North is day to day and I'll know more as the week progresses. Right now, he's listed as day to day."
Butch Jones also revealed on Monday at the Knoxville Quarterback Club that freshman quarterback Riley Ferguson is recovering from a fractured tibia that he suffered in practice before the Alabama game.
Also, Freshman tight end A.J. Branisel tore his ACL in practice last week and will soon have surgery to repair the injury.
