KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) --- When number one ranked LSU rolls into town Saturday, Tennessee will be without the services of star quarterback Tyler Bray.
The sophomore is expected to miss the next 5-6 weeks with a broken right thumb. Bray suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the Vols' 20-12 loss to Georgia Saturday night when his hand hit a defender's helmet.
With Bray out, senior Matt Simms will start for Tennessee. True freshman quarterback Justin Worley will back-up Simms.
Derek Dooley said Monday afternoon that running back Tauren Poole will be day-to-day this week. Poole is nursing an injured hamstring, also suffered against Georgia.
Linebacker Herman Lathers, who hasn't played this season, continues to recover from an ankle injury, and wide receiver Justin Hunter is our for the remainder of the year after tearing an ACL against Florida.
