MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Oak Ridge lost to Memphis Southwind 69-47 Wednesday in the class AAA quarterfinals in the boys' state championship in Murfreesboro.
Wildcat guard Jaylin Henderson led the team with 15 points, but his efforts weren't enough as Oak Ridge was outscored each quarter.
Poor shooting didn't help Oak Ridge's cause, as the Wildcats shot just 25 percent from the field (9-36 FG's).
This was Oak Ridge's first appearance at state since 2008. The Wildcats end the year 28-5.
