KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The New York Post is reporting that former Vol and New York Knicks great Bernard King will be part of the next class inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
King, one of the greatest pure shooters of all time, went on to have a stellar career in the NBA with several teams--most notably, the New York Knicks.
King, who had his jersey retired at Tennessee back in 2007, averaged just over 22 points a game throughout his NBA career.
The official announcement is expected to come on Monday at the Final Four in Atlanta, which is where King makes his home.
