Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) -- UT golfer Oliver Goss says he's shedding
that amateur status.
Set to make a formal announcement on Tuesday,
Goss says he's turning pro and his first event
will be the Travelers Championship in Connecticut this weekend.
Goss, who was low amateur at The Masters, was currently 12th in the world amateur rankings.
The UT Sophomore says he will also become a member of
of his native Australian team.
